Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and safety-minded 2nd Officer to join our offshore seismic/research vessel operating out of Stavanger. You will be part of a professional bridge team, supporting safe navigation and smooth offshore operations in demanding environments.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Stand navigational watch in accordance with COLREGs and company procedures
- Assist the Chief Officer with passage planning and voyage execution
- Operate and monitor bridge/navigation and DP-related equipment as required
- Participate in mooring, anchoring and offshore support operations
- Contribute to vessel safety, drills, and emergency response
- Ensure proper updates of charts, publications, logs and checklists
- **Requirements**:
- Valid STCW II/1 Officer of the Watch (Deck) or higher
- Previous experience as 2/O or OOW on offshore or research/seismic vessels preferred
