Job Description
The Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship offers training in all aspects of echocardiography in a high-volume laboratory at one of the nation's leading cardiology centers. Our structural heart and valvular heart disease team offer patients access to the industry's most advanced treatments. Advanced echocardiography fellows will satisfy the requirements of level III training through performance and interpretation of transesophageal, transthoracic, and stress echocardiography. Fellows will also develop skill in 3D imaging and peri-procedural echocardiography.
Over the course of the one-year training program, advanced echocardiography fellows will gain expertise in imaging a wide variety of cardiovascular diseases, including cardiomyopathies, heart failure requiring advanced therapies (LVAD and other LV support devices), cardiac transplantation, congenital heart disease, complex cardiothoracic surgical cases, and valvular heart disease.
