Join EQB as an Intermediate Accountant, working hybrid from our Toronto office. Focus on GL reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
This role supports the finance function and reports to the Sr. Manager, Accounting. You will validate GL balances, perform bank reconciliations, and develop accounting product plans. Collaborate closely with various business units to enhance financial processes and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations for the finance team
• Validate GL and sub-ledger balances with business units
• Generate and analyze income and expense variances
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports
• Support auditor requirements and related documentation
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting or Finance with ongoing designation
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting role
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Detail-oriented and effective under pressure
