Job Description
Universal is seeking talented individuals to apply principles of general accounting (U. S. & Mexican GAAP) in the preparation of month-end close duties, ensuring accuracy of the fixed asset ledger system, preparing audit schedules, and performing account reconciliations and financial analysis. In addition, experience working with and leading process improvements DUTIES: • Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities • Preparing and posting journal entries with proper supporting documentation • Performing reconciliations and resolving reconciling items • Supporting intercompany accounting and related reconciliations • Processing invoices, credits, billing transactions, and customer account activity • Investigating billing, payment, or accounting discrepancies • Supporting financial reporting and audit requests • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate finance operations • Assisting with process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives •...
