Job Description

*Post-doctoral Adaptive Optics Research Fellow * Seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral Adaptive Optics Research Fellow to work with Dr. Osamah Saeedi at the University of Maryland and in collaboration with Drs. Zhuolin Liu and Daniel X. Hammer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Center for Devices and Radiological Health. The candidate will perform research with the FDA multimodal adaptive optics (mAO) imagers with a focus on retinal blood flow and glaucoma. The mAO imaging systems allow visualization of the living human retina at the level of single cells. Candidates from a broad set of backgrounds will be considered for this position. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple ongoing investigations into structural and functional imaging of the retinal cells.
