As a member of the virtual monitoring team, you will observe and monitor patients from a remote location using video technology. You will recognize and respond quickly to behaviors that compromise patient safety by working cooperatively with nursing staff. Even though you are not in the same physical location, you are a valued member of the healthcare team. The virtual attendant is responsible for monitoring a live video feed of patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
