The Graduate Student Society at SFU (the GSS) is hiring for a permanent part‑time Administrator. The role supports the daily operations of the GSS and oversees its book keeping, payroll, and administrative functions. This is a unionized position (CUPE 3338) and the GSS is seeking to fill the position immediately.
The Graduate Student Society is a member‑led organization that works on behalf of graduate students at Simon Fraser University. The organization has a horizontal governance structure with graduate students providing direction and decision making throughout the society’s various levels of governance. The GSS is a small, dynamic and active non‑profit organization that provides support for approximately 4,000 members, 40 affiliated departmental caucuses, and numerous member‑led committees that give operational direction to the society.
