Job Description
The Hospital Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) provides comprehensive inpatient medical care under a collaborative practice agreement with the Hospital Medicine physicians. The APP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care for hospitalized patients while promoting safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the continuum from admission to discharge. The APP partners with physicians, nursing, case management, pharmacy, rehabilitation services, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes, enhance throughput, reduce length of stay, and support an exceptional patient experience
