Auckland Council’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team is offering a permanent, full‑time opportunity for an Advisor – Hauora and Wellbeing who will work in a hybrid setting (three days in the office and travel across the region). The role supports internal staff and leaders by providing crisis support, pastoral care, and wellbeing initiatives that align with our Whanake Ora Hauora Wellbeing Strategy FY2025–2028.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate post‑incident or crisis support, identify impacted staff, and refer to external specialist services.
- Deliver in‑house kaitiakitanga, manaaki, and tautoko pastoral care and wellbeing support.
- Question and improve processes to align intentions and delivery with meaningful programmes of work.
- Support the design, navigation, and delivery of hauora initiatives aligned with the Whanake Ora Hauora Wellbeing Strategy FY2025–2028.
