Job Description
**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- _Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of period close, required reports, and journal entries to create and support processes that meet required company deadlines.

- _Create and enter journal entries with supporting backup and file all JEs per policy.
_
- _Perform balance sheet reconciliations monthly and analyze all reconciling items on a timely basis to determine root causes and provide corrective actions.
_
- _Assist with SOX testing quarterly and bi-annually.
_
- _Prepare SOX-compliant documentation for all activities.
_
- _Provide support and assistance with audits (internal, SOX, tax, etc.) _
- _Communicate with Business Managers and aid and guidance for requests related to accounting functions, policies, and procedures.
_
- _Drive effective accounting solutions that improve the company's standard of excellence.
_
- _Other inquiries and duties as assigned.
