Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology - Cardiac
Job Details:
- Provide cardiovascular anesthesiology coverage for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases
- TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) certification is required
- Cardiac anesthesiology fellowship preferred
- Assist with general OR cases in addition to cardiovascular cases as needed
- Unrestricted overnight call and weekend call required; Monday through Friday 8-10 hour days
- Adult and geriatric patients only; no pediatric care required
- Cases are hands-on with occasional CRNA supervision
- Facility handles approximately 360-450 cardiac cases per year with 2 cardiac surgeons on staff
- EMR system used is EPIC
- Board certification in cardiac anesthesiology and transesophageal echocardiography required
