Job Overview AppOps, Specialist responsible for the maintenance and support of Interac’s highly distributed, high‑performance payment system. Duties include diagnosing and resolving application issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability, providing root cause analysis, and driving improvements. The role requires on‑call availability and collaboration with senior team members to gather monitoring requirements and deliver monitoring solutions using enterprise tools.
Responsibilities
Work on large‑scale Java applications, database architectures, application monitoring and fault management.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Linux, Websphere, firewalls, load balancers and REST APIs.
Troubleshoot applications using APM tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
Apply an SRE mindset to ensure application availability and reliability.
