Architectural Technologist Retail & Restaurants

Due to an upcoming retirement, we’re looking for an Architectural Technologist with retail and/or restaurant experience to join a local architectural firm based in Burnaby, BC.
Reporting to an Associate Architect, you’ll be joining a growing firm with a long pipeline of work lined up.



Architectural Technologist responsibilities:

Preparation of preliminary drawings, kitchen layouts, working drawings and details.

Provide contract administration such as shop drawing review/SI/RFIs/etc.

Coordinate consultants and engineers, and problem-solve technical issues.

Work under the guidance of an Associate Architect

The successful candidate has:

3+ years minimum experience, with a minimum of 2 years locally in BC

Strong technical knowledge in the restaurant and retail industries; or experience drafting shop drawings

Strong AutoCAD skills
