About the Role
As the Assistant Accountant, you'll support the day-to-day processing and reconciliation of inventory transactions, assist with month-end activities, and investigate inventory discrepancies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys working with data and collaborating across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process inventory transactions including stock movements, adjustments, transfers and write-offs in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with preparing and posting routine inventory journals during month-end close.
- Reconcile inventory sub-ledgers and warehouse reports to the general ledger, investigating and escalating variances where required.
