We are hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing for our leading nursing home in Co.Wicklow, Ireland. Responsibilities Make sure every employee does their utmost to support the smooth operation of the nursing home and the development of an environment that serves the residents' best interests. Engage in conversation with the residents to make sure their medical needs are being satisfied and, if necessary, to find solutions to any issues. Communicate with the district nurse on the medical requirements of the residents. Notify the resident of any illness and, if required, request GP or professional visits. Make sure residents' nutritional needs are satisfied and that meals are served in a sufficient quantity and of high quality. When necessary, perform both personal care and general nursing duties.
