Duties
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Walton Street Steam Plant, and other duties as directed by the Plant VP, WSSP Operations.
- Promote, ensure and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, and Enwave HSE policies, programs and procedures.
Qualifications
- Hold a 2nd Class Operating Engineer Certificate or be in a position to obtain a 2nd class OE certificate within four months of accepting this position.
- Have strong technical skills and be able to work safely alone or in a team environment.
- Process the skills and confidence to successfully perform the duties of the shift engineer as required.
- Must be capable of performing basic maintenance tasks as required.
- Be able to perform and Confined Space tasks.
