Assistant/Associate Professor in Building Services Engineering (tenure track)
The Department of Civil Engineering at Aalto University School of Engineering invites applications for a full‑time Assistant/Associate Professor in Building Services Engineering. The position is part of the Performance research group and will involve advanced research, teaching, and industry collaboration. The appointment is a tenure‑track position, beginning at the Assistant level with a clear pathway for promotion to Associate Professor.
Responsibilities
- Lead research in data‑driven, healthy and smart buildings, including HVAC optimisation, zero‑emission targeting, indoor climate quality, digital twin control, and prefabrication.
- Secure and manage industry and competitive research funding.
