The Calgary office is currently seeking a skilled senior level Corporate and Capital Markets Associate to join their team of experts.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of post-call experience in corporate law, with a focus on capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, obtained from a national, regional or reputable boutique.
- Experience representing both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, including plans of arrangement, amalgamations, and share purchase transactions.
- Experience assisting in corporate finance transactions, including public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.
- Proven ability to provide advice on compliance with corporate and securities regulatory requirements, including stock exchange listings, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and shareholders’ meetings.
- Strong academic credentials
- Exceptional work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
