At CBC Northwest Territories, we’re seeking a full-time Associate Producer for our Yellowknife newsroom. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong hands-on experience in journalism, particularly in radio broadcasting, along with skills in writing and communication. You will handle segment production, guest booking, and contribute compelling stories about the Northwest Territories and its diverse culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Chase, write, and produce segments for current affairs
• Gather and edit audio for broadcast
• Write question lines and prepare taped segments
• Perform live on air and engage with guests
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent
• Minimum two years of journalism/media experience
