The Automation Specialist is responsible for programming, debugging, installation and startup of new or modified production and test equipment from the perspective of controls installation.
Here’s what you will do as a Automation Specialist:
Prepare functional descriptions of process controls and sequence of operations Development and support of PLC and HMI programs for use on industrial equipment Application and setup of VFD and multi axis servo control systems Integration of specialized hardware and software into manufacturing systems to enhance automation and control with an emphasis on efficiency Panel design (AUTOCAD) Commission and trouble shoot robotic applications Assist customers and/or co-workers with electrical/programming issues Assist with sp...
