Overview
The Common Support Equipment Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains Common Support Equipment (CSE). Responsibilities include troubleshooting malfunctions, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, analyzing maintenance trends, and documenting actions using automated systems. Technicians utilize various diagnostic tools, such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes, to repair mechanical and electronic systems. They also handle fluids, conduct corrosion treatments, manage hazardous materials, and prepare CSE for deployment. The role includes operating and servicing support equipment and tow vehicles, while adhering to safety, Tool Control, and Foreign Object Damage prevention standards at all times.
