Role Overview

CFMWS – WHERE PURPOSE MEETS PASSION! At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we support Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and their families in their daily lives. The deployed Barber role provides hair cutting and grooming services to troops deployed overseas for six months, enhancing morale and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim and style hair according to customer preference or military specifications (e.g., fades, conventional military haircuts).
• Trim beards and moustaches, shave, and provide grooming advice.
• Analyze hair and scalp conditions and recommend treatments.
• Assist with recreational activities and events that support morale and readiness of deployed personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education : High school diploma.
• Certifications : Barber certification (Province) and valid provincial driver’s licence.
