Overview
Reclatam is hiring on behalf of our client for a Paralegal with experience in removal defense to support an immigration law practice. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling cases before EOIR, including defensive asylum matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with removal defense cases before EOIR
- Prepare and file applications, including defensive asylum (Form I-589)
- Draft legal documents, motions, and supporting materials
- Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars
- Communicate with clients to gather information and documentation
- Ensure compliance with immigration procedures and requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal in immigration law , specifically removal defense
- Strong knowledge of EOIR processes and procedures
