The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press machines to bend, shape, and form aluminum materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with aluminum, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate brake press machines to form aluminum parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Adjust machine settings for material type, thickness, and bend angles
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances and dimensions
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
- Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures
