Job Description
This role is responsible for managing purchases, material requirements, supplier management, product life cycle, and derivatives of the production process, ensuring on-time deliveries with the highest quality standards and at the most optimal cost .
- Ensure the supply and purchase of materials, components, and services required for production.
- Manage quotes with suppliers and place purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate stock of materials to support production programs.
- Determine the appropriate purchasing strategy for each material, ensuring continuous supply, as well as the optimal inventory level, avoiding excesses and/or lack of materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance through quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
- Implement cost savings initiatives and optimization strategies with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
