Overview
GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a full-service jet engine overhaul and repair station located at Helsinki International Airport in Vantaa, Finland. We are seeking a self-driven and independent Buyer to join our international Procurement team of 14 professionals. The Buyer will source and purchase spare parts, materials, and supplies essential for jet engine maintenance and repair.
As a Buyer, you will convert purchase requests into purchase orders (POs) and requests for quotation (RFQs), manage delivery schedules, and keep your manager informed about the status of POs. You will handle vendor inquiries and provide additional documentation or information as needed. You will work closely with the material planning team to identify cost-effective procurement solutions and manage various indirect purchases.
