Job Summary

Lethbridge School Division is accepting applications for a Caretaking position. The Caretaker is responsible for completing cleaning duties and responsibilities to a high standard within the school premises. The Caretaker reports to the Head Caretaker or designate, communicates positively with students, co‑workers, and school administration, and ensures all needs are addressed. The role requires working primarily the evening shift during the school term, with day shift required periodically (rotation shift/non‑instructional days). The caregiver must work unsupervised for long periods, maintain good health, lift chairs, filing cabinets, furniture, boxes of materials, climb stairs or ladders, and use various chemicals daily.
