Join our Engineering Drafting team in Scarborough as a CAD Technologist Specialist. This contract role focuses on modernizing CAD documentation and supporting manufacturing activities.
In this 6-month position, you will update and recreate legacy CAD drawings using current templates and standards. Ideal candidates will have experience with CAD software and a background in mechanical engineering or related fields. Work alongside senior designers to ensure accuracy and adherence to engineering documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update legacy CAD drawings to current standards
• Convert documentation into production-ready formats
• Create and revise fabrication and assembly drawings
• Validate bills of materials (BOMs) and related documents
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and documentation clean-up
Requirements:
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
• Education in mechanical engineering or CAD-related field
