Job Description
Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Professional - Governance and Compliance (Capital Markets Data Lead) for a 6-month contract (with potential extension based on performance and business needs). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, with in-office work required three days per week (Wednesday fixed, two flexible).
Responsibilities
- Lead data management activities for assigned Asset Classes and Data Domains as part of the Capital Markets Data Governance Program.
- Deliver the Data Governance Program stream, ensuring priority datasets are brought under governance by completing metadata, data quality, and data access management activities.
- Partner with Business Analysts, SMEs, and Technology Leads to define in-scope data assets, identify Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and map them to business glossaries.
