Job Description
Torvo Construction Limited is looking for 2 experienced carpenters to join our team in Auckland. The minimum working hours is 30 hours per week, and the maximum hours is 50 hours per week. Suitable candidates will be offered an hourly rate of $30 to $36, subject to your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and measurements for carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and other building materials using hand and power tools.
- Construct and install timber formwork, wall frames, floor systems and roof framing for new residential buildings.
- Install external cladding, doors, windows, ceilings, skirting, architraves and other internal and external timber building components.
- Carry out renovation and alteration work, including repairing, replacing and rebuilding timber structures and fixtures.
