Job Description
We are currently looking for a Carpenter to join our site in Portage La Prairie. The role will perform a variety of residential construction-related duties to support the delivery of project schedules. The Carpenter must have working knowledge of the residential construction industry and uphold the highest safety standards while on the job.
What you need to be successful:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Construct frameworks, structures, and fixtures using various materials.Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and other materials.Build or assist in back framing, stair forming and site amenitiesInstall windows, doors, flooring, and cabinetry.Perform concrete formwork, framing, and finishing work.Inspect and ensure quality and safety standards are met.Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.Train and supervise apprentices and helpers.<...
