Carrier Sales Representative
We are looking for a carrier sales representative with a strong sales mindset and a results‑driven approach to join our team in Medellín. This role is key to securing truck capacity and building strategic relationships with U.S.-based carriers.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new trucking carriers to build a strong capacity network.
- Negotiate rates per load, maximizing margins while meeting revenue goals.
- Dispatch drivers with clear pickup and delivery instructions.
- Ensure carriers meet compliance requirements (insurance, operating authority).
- Track shipments through check calls and a tracking tool.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays or breakdowns.
- Collect Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
- Update the TMS with accurate carrier and rate information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dispatchers and carriers.
