Durban North – Production Planner
A well-established clothing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Planner. Requirements: at least 3 years' apparel production planning experience and advanced Sync and Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain, configure, and optimise the Sync PLM / ERP system
- Raise and track production jobs in SAP
- Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Monitor factory capacity, workflow, and production targets
- Coordinate material availability with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams
- Generate production reports and analyse performance
- Liaise with design, production, cutting, sewing, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations
