Overview
Join Fraser Health as a Casual Speech Language Pathologist in various regions including Maple Ridge and Tri-Cities. Support clients with communication disorders through assessment and tailored intervention strategies. This position requires graduation from an approved school of Speech Language Pathology and at least one year of recent clinical experience. You will plan and record treatment programs, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and guide Speech Language Assistants. This role significantly impacts the well-being of preschool clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Perform screenings and assessments for communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Advise team members on significant changes in client status
