Overview
As a Category Intern, you’ll join the Merchandise Category team, supporting how products are ranged, priced, and promoted across our retail banners PAK’nSAVE, New World, and Four Square. You’ll work closely with a Category Manager and the wider team, using data and insights to help grow your assigned category and support both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Category Manager with marketing and promotional activity planning and recommendations.
- Run sales performance reports and build simple Excel templates to analyse results, trends, and opportunities.
- Gather and summarise competitor activity to help inform category decisions.
- Work closely with the wider team to communicate product changes and updates.
- Help manage promotional errors and support clear communication with stores when fixes are needed.
