Job Description
The Class A CDL Spotter is under the direction of the Plant Manager and will primarily be responsible for moving loads around the truck yard and nearby lot using established procedures, following safety protocol, and adhering to our company’s quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Move loads around the truck yard. Ability to back up trailers to dock doors, often with other trailers on either side of the dock Verify loads for accuracy Ensure trailer is in quality working condition prior to relocating Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle. Ensure load matches paperwork before leaving all sites. Safe and legal operation of a commercial vehicle. Various other duties and tasks as assigned. Work Conditions:
