The Dispatcher role is a fast-paced, demanding position focused on planning and coordinating the pickups and deliveries for our Whitehorse service area, including surrounding rural routes. We're looking to onboard a dedicated professional to join our team and help us meet or exceed our customers' expectations.
As a Dispatcher, you'll be the nerve center of our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily flow. Your key duties will include:
Load Planning & Coordination: Planning and coordinating all terminal pickups and deliveries, including LTL load planning and city/rural route planning.
Driver Supervision: Supervising City Drivers , providing direction, and delegating tasks effectively.
Communication & Customer Service: Consistently answering the phone and dealing with driver requirements (e.g., hook up information, delay updates, concerns). This includes communicating effec...
