The City of Abbotsford’s Engineering & Transportation department is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) to join their dynamic team, on a one-year term. As an integral member of the Transportation team, you will support the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure programs and projects while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of senior engineering staff.
In this role, you will contribute to a variety of technical assignments, including the analysis of data, preparation of engineering reports, and review of traffic management plans and layouts. You will assist with site assessments, field investigations, and the preparation of technical and council reports, including design calculations, drawings, and regulatory submissions.
