About the Role
The Civil Structural Designer is responsible for providing technical support to project teams in the areas of structural design and technical drawing production. The designer should be well‑versed in the national building code, industry practices, and design review processes. Additionally, the Civil Structural Designer is responsible for offering support in all stages of the project, from the initial feed phase to fabrication and construction.
Responsibilities
- Model and develop 3D structural models and conceptual designs from engineering sketches or prints using Advance Steel.
- Produce 2D structural drawings from 3D models in Advance Steel.
- Produce detailed structural fabrication drawings.
- Generate MTOs from Advanced steel model.
