4 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose To undertake HGV Class 2 driving duties for refuse collection services, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable collection of waste across Luton. The postholder will operate refuse vehicles, complete scheduled collection rounds and work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality waste collection service. The role requires a hands-on approach, including assisting with loading bins, following health and safety procedures, and maintaining professional standards while representing the organisation. Key Responsibilities Drive HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles safely and responsibly across designated routes. Complete refuse collection rounds efficiently and in line with service requirements.
