Description
Position Summary
The Clinical Engineering Technologist is responsible for the safety inspection, performance assurance, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs of high volume equipment such as IV pumps, SPOT vital signs monitors, pulse oximeters, thermometers as well as a wide range of patient monitoring equipment and other diagnostic/therapeutic equipment. The Technologist also works with clinical staff, in the event of equipment malfunction, to troubleshoot and identify the cause of problems and determine a fix or best solution so that equipment downtime can be minimized.
