Job Description
*Experienced Clinical Nurse - Main Operating Room - Surgical Oncology, Breast Surgical Oncology, and Colon & Rectal Services*
*Summary:*
The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse in the Main Operating Room is to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures, while supporting the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room, specializing in General, Colon and Rectal, Robotics, or Vascular Surgery service lines.
Schedule & Operating Room Orientation
The first six months will include Operating Room Orientation, conducted Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Following orientation, employees will transition to a day-shift schedule, which will be assigned based on department needs and may include one of the following options:
Option 1: Two 12-hour day shifts and two 8-hour day shifts per week
