As a COBOL Developer, you will maintain and modernize mission‑critical applications on IBM mainframe systems. You will serve as a key technical resource for ensuring the stability and evolution of core business logic within large‑scale enterprise environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, code, test, and debug COBOL programs for both batch and online CICS processing.
- Maintain and optimize data access using DB2, VSAM, and JCL to ensure high performance and data integrity.
- Analyze existing legacy code and documentation to identify modernization opportunities and refactoring needs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate mainframe applications with contemporary cloud‑native architectures.
