The Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (SIOS) is a consortium that coordinates research infrastructure and observational capacities across 29 international institutions, aiming to advance high‑quality environmental and climate change research in the Svalbard region. The SIOS Knowledge Centre (SIOS‑KC) in Longyearbyen is the central hub for these efforts, and SIOS Svalbard AS is the formal employer for staff at SIOS‑KC.
