Join the Mississauga Halton Diabetes Foot Care Program as a Chiropodist. Provide essential foot care services to individuals with diabetes facing access barriers in the community.
This clinical role focuses on patient-oriented care and includes mentoring duties to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals. You will work collaboratively to implement innovative techniques and improve the standard of diabetic foot care in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer general chiropody services to at-risk diabetic patients
• Provide mentorship and training to healthcare colleagues
• Educate the community about foot care best practices
• Maintain high standards of clinical competency
• Ensure excellent patient engagement and service delivery
Requirements:
• Valid Chiropody diploma
• Registration with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
• Certification in wound care from a recognized body
• Experience in educational settings
