JOB TITLE: Community Liaison

Job Summary: The job of Community Liaison is done for the purpose/s of establishing and maintaining communication between staff, students, and their parents in order to improve the students' success in school.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborates with school programs and outside agencies for the purpose of achieving program objectives for staff, parents, or students.
  • Makes home visits for the purpose of gaining or sharing information.
  • Prepares documentation and logs for the purpose of fulfilling program requirements.
  • Assists counselors for the purpose of enhancing student communication.
  • Coordinates meetings, including mailings, phone contacts, and sign-in sheets for the purpose of increasing parent knowledge and skills regarding students' education.
  • Attends meetings as required for the purpose of meeting program objectives.
