Job Description
Objective: To optimize the supply chain by balancing available inventory with production demand, ensuring the availability of materials at the lowest possible cost and without excess inventory. It serves as a strategic bridge between purchasing and production planning.
Responsibilities
- MRP and Master Planning. Performs quality checks on master data for material planning (lead time, order quantities, shipping and push, transportation, material receipt, etc.) by taking measures to support the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) based on the Open Planner Order Report, Master Schedule Integrated, and Clear to Build.
- Action Report. Manages production change requests and production ramp-up/ramp-down activities to meet customer demand while minimizing overall and obsolete inventory through Clear to Build and Simulations.
