Drive safety initiatives at Aecon's major construction project in Montreal. As a Health and Safety Expert, you’ll oversee compliance and mentor team members to enhance site safety.
Aecon is pursuing an experienced Health and Safety Expert for the Port of Montréal Contrecœur Terminal Expansion, the biggest construction project in Canadian history. With 7 to 10 years of experience in heavy construction safety, you will supervise health and safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and engage in continuous improvement with onsite teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead health and safety inspections and audits
• Foster a culture of zero accidents on the job site
• Collaborate with stakeholders for safety integration
• Analyze accidents to suggest sustainable preventive measures
• Train and coach junior H&S advisors as needed
