Summary
The Continuous Improvement Engineer works on special continuous improvement projects related to continually reducing costs and increasing overall efficiencies; all within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.
Location: Langley, BC
Salary Range: $60K - $65K
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement and drive standard work, including appropriate communication boards and problem-solving systems focused on core operations
- Participates and performs assessment - daily leadership round on the floor, with coaching of operators, and owning follow up to drive improvement
- Continuously challenging the status quo to drive culture change at the Bakery towards a methodical, data driven approach to problem solving with an emphasis on root cause problem solving and sustaining improvements
