Contract Civil Design Engineer
Infrastructure & Drainage
Rate: £45–£50 per hour – Outside IR35
Contract: Initial 6 months (strong likelihood of extension)
Location: Southampton (Hybrid / Office-based as required)
An award-winning civil engineering design consultancy is seeking an experienced Contract Civil Design Engineer to support a strong pipeline of residential and mixed‑use infrastructure projects.
This is a hands‑on role suited to an engineer who can take schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and technical approvals, working within a high‑quality consultancy environment known for design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver civil infrastructure and drainage design for residential & mixed‑use developments
- Design foul and surface water systems using MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
- Produce highways, levels, earthworks and estate road designs using Civil 3D
